Billy & Isa are two friends who are opening a bakery in Bed-Stuy together later this year. Billy bakes, Isa chats and stamps their logo onto the pastry bags. Billy develops the recipes, Isa makes the lemonade. Construction is nearly underway for their brick and mortar, but in the meantime they are cooking out of a friend’s basement unit and hosting bake sales around Brooklyn. It feels hopeful: watching two people think up a good idea and then decide to actually do something about it.
